Music playing is 'Moonshine' by this line up
By 1976 we had evolved into a band called Tiddlywinx covering pop songs of the day. It was the first group in which I had played guitar and joining me were Noel Tadman (Bass), Mike Evans (Drums), John Ship (Vocals) Ex Ivy League, and a past hero of mine Dave Carter (Lead Guitar) Ex GrassHoppers.
This band played succesfully for many years, but everywhere we appeared the poster would always say
Tonight 'TiddlyWinx (Ex Mike Sheridan & The Nightriders). Despite all the attempts to re-invent myself,
I gave in and decided to revert back to the name which
people remembered.

I decided to just do one sort of music (60's) making us the first group in Birmingham to specialise in one type of music. This was hard work at first as people expected a bit of everything, but we pursued this and
eventually became very popular as a '60's' band on the circuit and became a big influence to many other bands.
